Experience
Mr. Murray is a 1975 graduate of Texas Senior High School and a 1981 Cum Laude graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.  He served for 10 years on the Board of Trustees of the Red Lick Independent School District and is a past member of the Board of Texarkana Dixie Baseball League on which he served for seven years. He has also serves on the board of the Economic Development Council of the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce on which he has previously served three terms as chairman.

Robert (Bob) Murray is President/CEO of MTG Engineers & Surveyors, Inc. (MTG), a 51-year old consulting civil/environmental engineering and surveying firm based in Texarkana, Texas. MTG is currently involved in projects and developments spanning the four states area and beyond.

Mr. Murray is a registered professional engineer in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee, Hawaii, Alabama, and Guam. He is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), and the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE), as well as the Tau Beta Pi and Chi Epsilon engineer honor societies.

Mr. Murray currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the North East Texas Regional Mobility Authority (NET RMA) and on the I-69 Segment One Committee, both as an appointee of Bowie County. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors and deacon at Heritage Church in Texarkana.

Mr. Murray and his wife, Debbie, have three children, Kayla, Lauren, and Blake.
