Matt was born in Tyler and grew up in Lindale.  He graduated from Lindale High School, attended Tyler Jr. College and then graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a degree in business.  Throughout his career in the technology industry he has worked with numerous public sector organizations such as cities, counties, transportation and other agencies who build and maintain large infrastructure assets in the US and abroad.  He hopes his experience in the industry will be helpful as he serves on the NETRMA board.  
Matt served for 12 years on the Lindale ISD Board of Trustees including several years as board president.  He’s also served on the Lindale Area Chamber of Commerce board and is former president and an active member of the Lindale Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow.  
Matt and his wife Stacy live in Lindale where they enjoy spending time with their 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren.
