North East 49 Proposed Connector Project

NET RMA has applied for funding from the federal government through the Rural Surface Grant Transportation Grant program to create a 4-lane divided highway with a permanent concrete median barrier on a 4.5 mile stretch of Toll 49.  The impacted area is located just north of Texas State Highway 64 (SH64) to south of Texas State Highway 31 (SH31).  This project will be constructed entirely within the existing operational right of way (ROW) as the NET RMA intentionally purchased a wide tract of land when originally constructing Toll 49.
